The University of Michigan Department of Screen Arts & Culture returns to the festival with their annual program of two short films, showcasing some of the top filmmaking ability in the state. In Skin, a young, successful writer struggling to write her second novel is visited by her characters, who bring her more material than she knows what to do with. In Weiner Police, the holy code of conduct of Weiner, Arkansas and its Pre-Marital Fornication Force are put into question once two of Weiner’s finest officers realize they want to commit the ultimate crime with each other.
