The entirely preventable Flint water crisis is explored in this program of shorts by Flint students, MSU faculty, and award-winning journalists. “Undrinkable” is a timeline of the disaster’s events created by students at Davison High School for DTV News. “Hard to Swallow” is part of a six-chapter series created by MSU J-School students, faculty, and WKAR-TV staff called Faces of Flint. And “Here’s to Flint,” directed by Kate Levy and the ACLU’s Curt Guyette, the Michigan Press Association’s Journalist of the Year, is an exhaustive probe into the way Flint was left exposed to lead-tainted drinking water for nearly two years.
