This ingenious, whimsical tale in the spirit of “Where the Wild Things Are” tells the story of 10-year-old Thomas (Disney XD’s Bryce Gheisar), an imaginative child whose best friend is a stuffed fox named Felix. Concerned by Thomas’ fantastical stories, his parents decide their son needs to make human friends. Thomas determines to make a daring escape from summer camp along with Felix, deep into the forest. Inspired by director and Petoskey native Micah Barber’s summers in Northern Michigan, this wildly fun fable contains tender lessons about self-acceptance and growing up, and is sure to leave big smiles on the faces of parents and kids alike. Contains scenes of mild bullying.
