Description

It’s never too late to find your passion—that’s the message of this charming, down-to-earth romance that’s sure to be a favorite at this year’s festival. Hana is an unappreciated widow who lives in solitude, save for the days when her two selfish sons and their families come to eat her meals. And when she takes care of her otherwise neglected grandson. And when she does the cooking and cleaning for her son’s family. Catering to their every whim—and often being pitted in the middle of their marital arguments—Hana silently takes their abuse. That is, until the day she stumbles upon Brona, an ice swimmer in need of rescue, in more senses than one. Hana soon finds herself plunged both into the world of ice swimming as well as a new romance that gives her a sudden desire for independence. With enchanting performances by the two leads actors and the lead chicken, this story about embracing life and the complications of family will warm and delight even the iciest of hearts.
