I Love My Dad

Patton Oswalt plays an estranged father who impulsively catfishes his son in a desperate attempt to reconnect, posing as the girl of his dreams. Of course this inexplicable plan goes disastrously wrong when his lovestruck son decides he wants to visit his new “girlfriend.” Allegedly based on the director’s life, this very funny and deeply uncomfortable family comedy fearlessly straddles the lines between cringey, hilarious and heartfelt.
