Description

The University of Michigan Department of Screen Arts & Cultures returns to the TCFF with their annual program of two shorts showcasing some of our state’s top young filmmaking talent. With the aid of a memory recall solution, recovering alcoholic Denny trades his present and future to go back to the past to get things right with the love of his life in director Ryan McDonough’s “Present Day.” And in Claudia Fuentes’ “The Dejects,” Ivy gets rejected from her dream school, and her classmates seek to give her the high school experience she never had, forcing Ivy to finally question the madness of the college acceptance game. In Person: University of Michigan Student Filmmakers.
